On March 20, all students of our second and third grade had the opportunity to watch the play “Spooked!“ by the Vienna English Theatre. Here are some of the students‘ thoughts on it.

It was amazing that the actors changed their roles so quickly and spoke loudly. They had a cool accent. We loved that they engaged the audience. The costumes looked so beautiful, and the set design was some of the best we’ve ever seen. The idea was great and the play was so interactive.

We were so impressed that they played so many roles. And they spoke so fluently and knew the text by heart. They performed their roles very well. The moment when the ghost disappeared in the trunk was so great and breathtaking. Everything was exciting. All the actors were so talented, and we loved how nice they were after the show. In general, everything was awesome.

It was such a nice experience and we laughed a lot. It was also very cool that some students were allowed to go on the stage. This day was unforgettable.

The play was very interesting, and the actors did a good job. They involved us in the play and lots of scenes were very funny. At the beginning I didn’t understand everything but after a while it got easier to understand.

I think it was a very nice play, I laughed a lot and the actors were very good. It was also very exciting. Maybe there will be a new play and a new book next year. Thank you for this amazing show and I hope we’ll go to the English theatre again next year. My favourite scene was the scene when Mrs Otis came and didn’t see the ghost.

The show was great. When we arrived, the whole group was silent. The play was stunning. The young actors were perfect in their roles. Everybody felt the aura in this room. After the play we left with a smile on our faces. We will keep this memory for a long time.

On Friday, the 20th of March, we watched the theatre play "Spooked". It was about a man who sold his old house to a family because he had no money left. He wanted to warn them that a ghost was living in the house, but at first, they didn't believe him. Later, Sir Simon de Canterville (the ghost) arrived in Washington’s (the son’s) room and tried to scare him. However, Washington wasn't afraid of him. He and his sister Virginia wanted to show their mom that the ghost was real, but she couldn't see Sir Simon. There was also a riddle on the wall, and Virginia solved it with the audience’s help. In the end, Mrs Otis (the mother) could see the ghost, and they were all happy. They left the house, and Sir Simon was free.
Our favourite scene was the dance performance of Washington to the Ghostbusters song. That was funny, and we still have the song in our ears now. Washington was also our favourite character because he was the best actor. He could switch his voice very well!

We went to the theatre Spooked on Friday, the 20th. The play was about a lord who had to sell his house because he had no money left. Canterville thought that the family just wanted to live in it, but they had other plans… The Americans were looking forward to tearing the house down and building a small village. The children found out that there was a ghost in the building, and they wanted to help him. They needed to solve a quiz to get a key and set the ghost free…
In the play, there were four actresses who played very well! Our favourite character was called “Washington” because he acted very well and was very funny. In our opinion, the best scene was the one when the boy and the ghost met. All in all, it was a good play, and we laughed a lot. In the end, we got an autograph, and we talked a bit with the actresses.
