Von Bergamo nach Tirol

Im Jänner und Februar besuchte eine Schülerin unserer Partnerschule in Trescore Balneario, Bergamo die 7B-Klasse unserer Schule. Hier berichtet sie von ihren Erfahrungen.

My Erasmus+ experience

When I was told that I was chosen to take part in the Erasmus+ project to Innsbruck my heart was immediately filled with joy, and it still is now, after a month here.

My Erasmus experience has been a journey full of emotions that are hard to put into words. It was simply breathtaking: I met so many nice people, improved my knowledge of the German language, made funny memories and learned so much!

I didn't expect it to be so life changing, and I am infinitely grateful for that. The family who hosted me made me feel home and welcome always. Changing your life completely, even for just a month, is much harder than people could imagine, but I have to say thank you to Leon for always being there for me when I needed support. Now that it's time to go back home, I feel like a completely different person. I carry with me the sadness of saying goodbye to this awesome city but also so many good memories and so many life lessons.

Erasmus in Innsbruck has taught me appreciation for the present, strength and to always be brave. Even if it could be hard, stepping out of your comfort zone will be the best decision you could take for your future. And it definitely was for me.

I leave with a heart full of memories, aware that this experience will always be a meaningful part of who I am.
